About Luch
Luciana "Luch" Latino is a driven and talented D1 soccer player at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Inspired by her mom, a former college soccer player, Luciana developed her love for the game early and has since become a dedicated athlete known for her hard work, leadership, and team spirit. Her proudest accomplishments include competing with the U.S. Soccer Program, winning the Big Ten Tournament with Penn State, and now contributing to Tennessee's women's soccer team.
Off the field, Luciana shines academically as a Dean's List honoree, with aspirations to play professionally and later in the business side of sports, considering opportunities in fields like PR, management, or marketing. Known for her vibrant personality, she enjoys journaling, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends.

Luch's Journal
Soccer has always been a huge part of my life, but over the years, I've struggled with anxiety and the pressure to perform. It's been tough—there were times when the mental side of the game felt harder than the physical. I've started exploring tools like self-help books, podcasts, and sessions with a sports psychologist to work through it. Journaling has also been a game-changer—it helps me sort through my thoughts and focus on what I can control. I'm learning that managing anxiety is a process, and while it's not always easy, each small step makes a difference.

In Season
- Strength training 2x per week
- 2-hour training (MTW)
- Games: Thursday & Sunday
- Recovery Friday, Training Saturday
Off Season
- Strength training 3x per week
- 1.5-hour training (M-F)
- Weekend runs or cycle classes
- 5 spring season games
Preseason
- Strength training 3x per week
- Running 4-5x per week
- Soccer 6x per week (one month)
- Team captains practices at school
